This improv show with guest monologists Ame Sweetall and Karyn Czar offers a captivating blend of personal narratives and unscripted comedy. These short stories are based on an audience suggestion that reflect true events or honest experiences. This leads to a truly one-of-a-kind evening of entertainment.

Guest Monologists:
Ame Sweetall is the President and CEO at LexArts and a longtime supporter of the arts. Watch her try her hand at improv!

Karyn Czar is the Morning News Anchor and reporter for WUKY/NPR. You may have also seen her onstage performing with Lexington Theater and other local theater organizations.

Since 2016, Central Kentucky Improv has been making audiences laugh throughout the Bluegrass and beyond. Our teams have traveled across the country to perform at some of the most prestigious improv festivals, including the legendary Del Close Marathon in New York City (where the city never sleeps, and neither did we), the high-energy Atlanta Improv Festival, the vibrant Cincinnati Improv Festival, the Damn Good Improv Festival in Louisville, and the spirited Asheville Improv Comedy Fest.

Closer to home, we perform monthly at Al's Bar, where we bring the laughs to Lexington on a regular basis. You can also catch us popping up at other local venues, spreading joy, sharing a laugh, and proving that Kentucky has a thriving improv scene!
